About the 银河线上娱乐平台 Student Health Center

The 银河线上娱乐平台 Student Health Center (银河线上娱乐平台 SHC) will provide nonemergent outpatient care for all currently enrolled students, both undergraduate and graduate levels. Staff includes a licensed practical nurse (LPN) and a family nurse practitioner (FNP) who are experienced in assessment and treatment of various medical problems common to college age students.

Labs and Health Insurance: Students will not be charged for office visits.  If lab work is deemed necessary, Students are responsible for paying all associated lab fees. Insurance information will be obtained at the visit and submitted to the laboratory, but the student will be responsible for paying any charges not covered by insurance.  银河线上娱乐平台 SHC staff will not collect payments or submit billing to any 3rd party insurers.

APPOINTMENTS: Due to COVID-19, all patients are advised to make an appointment before coming to the 银河线上娱乐平台 SHC for nursing or provider visits. Students need to complete and submit forms (health history, immunizations, consents, etc.) in the patient portal on the website.

  • Evaluation and treatment of acute/chronic illness, injuries
  • Triage; to determine appropriate level of care, ability to refer
  • Disease prevention/screening
  • Reproductive health care
  • No control substances will be prescribed or refilled

MENTAL HEALTH ASSESSMENT

  • Assess, diagnose, treat mental health problems common to collegiate population
  • Triage for assessment of students at time of crisis
  • Team-based collaboration in the provision of campus outreach
